- Contributed to the game of football as a Player, Coach, and Administrator and is a Life Member of Football South Australia and Cumberland United FC
- As a Player represented the State at senior level on 16 occasions between 1973 & 1980, has won the SA 1st Division leading Goal Scorer Award with Juventus (1976), League Championship Medal and Federation Cup Winners Medal with Cumberland in 1978. Played for Cumberland United 1962-1974, Adelaide Juventus/Adelaide City 1975-1977, White City Beograd 1982
- As a Coach he was with Cumberland United 1993-2000 and Noarlunga United 2001-2006 and in other capacities he was on the committee at Cumberland and Treasurer 1989-1992
