Football in Schools is an introductory program for those new to the game of Football. This program is designed to give primary aged children a great first experience of Football. The Football in Schools program is run once a week for an 8-week period, going for 1-hour duration. The program will develop basic Football skills in a safe and positive environment, with a strong emphasis on fun football activities.
Football in Schools has been designed to build greater ties with our local school communities across South Australia. Through engaging our local club coaches and the football community, we will strive to create a clear pathway between local school programs and clubs in the region. Creating strong community links with our local schools and clubs will create a vehicle of change for developing our game and bringing in new participants to club football.
Football in Schools is supported by the Government of South Australia allowing us to use the Sports Vouchers for this program, therefore making it a free program (if you use the voucher). Each year every primary age child receives this voucher they can claim. If you have used your Sports Vouchers already, the program would be $100.
