Contributed to the game of soccer as a Player and Coach and was instrumental in forming the Coaches Association in 1968 and was an instructor on the first two courses.
Represented South Australia as a Player and Coach and was the first South Australian (State) Coach to win against overseas opposition in 1975. Won many honours including 1st Division Championship, 2nd Division Championship, Federation Cup, Coca Cola Cup, Ampol Cup and Jaxen Cup
