Contributed to the game of soccer as a Player, Coach, Referee, Writer, Administrator and Commentator also a Life Member SASFA, Enfield City SC, Playford City SC and Para Hills West Juniors
Won the SASFA Best Player Award in 1937 and was the Chief Soccer writer for the Sunday Mail for over 27 years. Represented South Australia as State Senior and Youth Team Coach and was instrumental in reforming the Prospect SC in 1946, also established the Northern Districts Schoolboy and Junior Colts League and was Secretary of the Junior and Schools Council
