Represented Australia and South Australia as a Player and Referee, played for Port Adelaide, Portsmouth-Plympton and Birkalla Rovers SC was also appointed as an International referee by FIFA and refereed the 1979 Australian Cup Final. Member of the Referees Appointments committee, SASF Disciplinary committee and was appointed Referees Coach and Inspector has been associated with soccer in South Australia for over 50 years
