Friday will mark the beginning of the Girls State Identification Program, which will be held at the VALO Football Centre.

The event provides an opportunity for club participants to be identified by FFSA Development and Technical Coaches for inclusion in development squads. It also provides an opportunity for Football Federation SA to showcase the Referee Development Squad and significant work that has been undertaken to develop our future referees.

18 different teams will compete in their respective age groups, with an U11, U13, U14 and U16 category. Competing in a 3-day tournament, each age group will have 4-6 teams competing with players from all around the state.

The State Identification Program acts as a showcase for elite Junior Football in South Australia, with the main purpose displaying the development/identification of players and coaches.

The pathway for each player in the State Identification Program will allow them the opportunity to be selected for either the U14 (U11 & U13) Girls State program, the U15 (U14) Girls State Program or FFSA NTC Girls (U16).

We would like to wish all players and coaches participating in the event all the best in the identification process and tournament.
