Football South Australia has announced the details for the upcoming State Coaching Conference to be held on 8th December at The Parks Theatre, Angle Park.
The annual Coaching Conference not only provides further professional development for coaches but it is also a means for coaches to re-validate their accreditation.
Please be aware that FFA have changed the re-validation process for coaching accreditation as of 2019. Previously, and as communicated, a coach was required to obtain a 100 points over four (4) years to keep their coaching accreditation valid. Attendance at a Coaching Conference provided 50 points towards the re-validation.
FFA has confirmed that a 100 points is still required but this is now to be achieved over a three (3) year period with each Coaching Conference attended, providing 30 points.
* Any coach that has received their coaching accreditation as of 2019 is under the new system – re-validation is 100 points over a 3 year period. Coaching Conference is 30 points per conference.
** Any coach that received their accreditation prior 2019 are under the old system – re-validation is 100 points over a 4 year period. Coaching Conference is 50 points per conference. Once the coaches re validation occurs they will then come under the new structure.
