Federation Cup Final (2 teams)

 

All teams will commence the FFA Cup from Round 1 which can include up to 64 teams. NPL teams will be seeded for Round 1 only and will be drawn last.
 

Draw

A draw shall be undertaken by Football SA with the participating clubs invited to attend the draw for each round of the Cup. The name of each club involved in the competition shall be placed into the draw. Teams will be drawn out one at a time to determine the fixture.

The first team drawn out will be the home team, the second team to be drawn out, will be the away team.

Where the number of teams are that a bye or byes are required, teams will be drawn out until all fixtures are filled. Any team/s remaining will be allocated to the bye/s.

No draw will take place for Reserves or Under 18 matches as they will be aligned to the Senior Team draw.

If the senior team is drawn to play at home, where possible, the Reserve and Under 18 Cup teams will play at the same venue.
 

Federation Cup

At the completion of the FFA Cup Preliminary Rounds SA Semi-Final, the competition name will revert to the Football SA Federation Cup. Football Australia confirmed in 2019 that South Australia would receive two (2) Member Federation spots in the FFA Cup Final Rounds. The two (2) teams to progress to the FFA Cup Round of 32 will be the two teams that win the FFA Cup Preliminary Rounds SA Semi-Finals.
 

Reserve and Under 18

Only Football SA teams are eligible to participate in the Reserve and Under 18 Cup competitions.
