Football South Australia’s Annual General Meeting was held on Wednesday 24 May 2023 at ServiceFM Stadium, with President Estelle Bowman signing off on what has been an incredible year in the football community.
Football SA President, Estelle Bowman provided a whole of sport report to members and highlighted the many achievements by the football community during 2022.
The Football Community was guided by many outstanding leaders at club and association level which must be applauded. Players and referees were commended for their passion, commitment, and love of the game.
The competitiveness of competitions, increase in corporate support, solid financial performance, and ongoing work in partnering with the football community in federal, state, and local government advocacy and continued roll out of quality infrastructure projects as successes for the sport of Football in the State.
The success of our sport and the opportunities that it provides would not be possible without the contributions of our countless volunteers, families, parents and sponsors with their energy, generosity, and devotion to the game.
Football SA President, Estelle Bowman also paid tribute to outgoing director, Alf Ianniello who has contributed strongly to the advancement of the code in South Australia and thanked the Board Directors, CEO and Staff at Football SA for their work and commitment.
