250 ALDI MiniRoos participate in Southern Breakers carnival

On Sunday 21st July the Southern Breakers Soccer Club hosted its first-ever Aldi MiniRoos football carnival for players aged 6-11.

The club hosted 5 Football Federation South Australia (FFSA) clubs, including Campbelltown City, Para Hills Knights, Cumberland United, Noarlunga United, and Eastern United Saints.

There were approximately 250 kids involved in the event throughout the day, including 65 participants from Southern Breakers joined in on the action who represented their club well.

Several older players from the Southern Breakers Junior State League and Senior teams contributed as Referees, Coaches and assisted with the organisation of the day.

The day was played out in great spirit, with parents also contributing significantly before and during the day in the canteen and cooking the BBQ.

All clubs played within the spirit of the game and therefore a great day was enjoyed by all who participated or spectated.

The club was well supported by their major sponsor, Sportspower Victor Harbor.

Southern Breakers Soccer Club would like to thank all FFSA clubs that attended the ALDI MiniRoos Carnival.
