Adelaide University and Adelaide City FC have booked their place in the WNPL Cup Final for 2020.
Both sides overcame their semi-final opponents on Monday night under the lights at VALO Football Centre.
City faced Salisbury Inter for the second time in 3 days, with a 3-0 scoreline more comfortable than that 2-1 league result on Friday night. Chelsie Dawber returned from injury with a double brace, while the ever reliable Daniela Di Bartolo capped off the night for City.
Adelaide University and Fulham United locked horns and their tussle went the distance. Fulham United were just minutes away from a famous win after Fiona Worts put the side in front in the 57th minute. But with just four minutes left of the 90, Grace Abbey struck home to take the tie to extra time.
With the sides level after extra-time the game was settled on penalties, with Uni winning 4-2 to book their place in the final on Friday 18th September.
