Barry Maney Group become naming rights partner for the Limestone Coast Men's & Women's Premier Leagues

Football South Australia is delighted to announce that well-respected, local automotive dealer, The Barry Maney Group are to become naming rights partner of the Limestone Coast Premier League Men’s and Women’s competitions for the next two years.

The Barry Maney Group are a proud and established brand within Mount Gambier dating back to 1976. Their commitment to fostering a caring team culture and supporting the local community over their near 50-year history is parallel to the vision and mission of Football South Australia within the region. The partnership comes off the back of recent announcements from Football South Australia in the Limestone Coast over the previous two months to further reinforce the future of football in the southeast:

  • Appointing a full-time Development Officer, Christian Fleetwood, to be based in the region to promote futsal in the area as part of Football South Australia’s player development pathway program.
  • Becoming the first organisation to undertake tenancy at the Wulanda Recreation Centre.
  • Investing resources to achieving gender equality targets set by the Office of Recreation and Sport including increasing the number of female players, coaches, and referees in the region.
  • Partnering with local identity, Fennell Forestry to establish the Fennell Forestry Scholarship Fund to support young, under-privileged youth to play football, in addition to supporting the Development Centre for talented young boys and girls to ensure local players can continue to develop their skills within the region without the need for huge travel.
  • Securing Coopers Brewery as a premier partner of the Limestone Coast Premier League competition for the next four years.
