Club of the Month | BOSA FC

BOSA

BOSA Football Club has demonstrated outstanding growth in just five years in the Football SA Community competitions. BOSA was promoted for four consecutive seasons after consistent first and second place finishes. Previously an “all men’s” amateur club, BOSA has added value to women’s sport in our community by providing an avenue for females to play football in the City of Prospect – The only women’s football club in the council area. BOSA also has a long-standing connection with both Blackfriars Priory School and St Dominic’s Priory College which has helped create a pathway for school leavers to continue to play football, with 50% of our male and female playing members now old scholars. The BOSA committee continually strives to provide the best environment for our players, volunteers and supporters which was recently demonstrated with successful female facilities grant to upgrade the clubroom and change rooms to ensure an environment that is safe and inclusive for all members of the community.
