Berri host the 2019 FFSA Country Futsal Championships for the first time

Berri in the Riverland hosted the 2019 FFSA Country Futsal Championships for the first time on Monday 8 July 2019 a day after the WNPL Regional Round in Renmark.

The annual FFSA Country Futsal Championships provides the opportunity for regional based futsal players to be identified to trial for the FFSA State Futsal teams.


The FFSA Country Futsal Championships is the initial identification step on the road to the 2020 FFA National Futsal Championships to be held in Canberra between 13 and 17 January 2020.

Sixteen teams were at the event, including those from the Riverland, Adelaide Hills, Pt Pirie, and Yorke Peninsula.

119 Players – Boys and Girls played from U10 through to U17’s.

Riverland Association were brilliant hosts and the facility was ideal for players, spectators, and coaches.

Football Federation SA would like to thank all the volunteers, match officials and parents who ensured the day was a great success.

There were several players identified who will be invited to Adelaide for State Futsal Trials Commencing Saturday 10 August 2019.
