Campbelltown City SC presented $2,000 NAB Club Recognition Award
2016 PlayStation 4 National Premier League South Australia Champions, Campbelltown City SC have been granted a $2,000 Club Recognition Award from NAB on the back of some stunning performances by former junior, Paul Izzo, in the Hyundai A-League.
Paul was February's nominee for the NAB Young Footballer of the Year Award and as part of this, NAB donates a financial contribution to Paul's nominated junior Club and a range of equipment.
Izzo’s outstanding performances have helped his side to their most successful run of matches since 2014.
The 22-year-old shot stopper follows in the footsteps of Socceroos’ & former Mariners’ goalkeeper Mat Ryan who won the NAB Young Footballer of the Year award two seasons running (2010/11 and 2011/12).
“To be recognised as a young player in the league that’s doing well so far is great and hopefully we can finish off the season doing even better for ourselves,” Izzo said.
The Hyundai A-League NAB Young Footballer of the Year 2016/17 will be announced at the Dolan Warren Awards Night.
You can take part in Football Federation SA's next Community Goalkeeping Coaching Course taking place at Adelaide Shores Football Centre on April 8th, more information and registration available HERE.
