Football SA - Appeal Committee Determination
Football SA initiated a Grievance following receipt of the independent Appeal Committee determination in relation to the West Adelaide SC Appeal Hearing. The Grievance basis was that the Appeal Committee did not make a determination consistent with the Football Australia National Disciplinary Regulations.
The Grievance Committee heard the matter on Thursday, 16 September and determined that the appeal committee had erred in the application of the Rules and Regulations including the National Disciplinary Regulations and as a consequence has upheld the original determination of Football SA.
A forfeit result will be applied to West Adelaide SC resulting in the Round 16 match being awarded to Eastern United three (3) goals to nil (0).
The State League 1 table will be updated accordingly.
