Football South Australia's GM for Commercial Operations, Mark Easton, is lacing up his walking boots and today embarking on a 6 day trek in the Northern Territory, in support of Modbury Jet's life member, Ray Coull.

Ray is a much-loved, long-time member of the Modbury Jets SC and is currently battling MND. This walk follows on from the club's fundraiser for Ray in the RAANPSLA Round 22 match against MetroStars, which raised over $7000 so far.

On walking the trek, Mark said:

"I am honoured to be joining the walk for a great cause. MND SA provides vital services for families like Rays, and Football SA is contributing to this by attending the walk. I encourage everyone in the football community and in the wider community to get behind Ray, and the cause from Football SA to raise vital funds to support families with MND."

Keep an eye on the Football SA socials for Mark's progress on the walk.

About the Trek

MND South Australia values the lived experience of its community. Encouraging innovation, and promoting and funding research into the care, support, treatment and cure for people living with MND.

Immersed in the rich history of Australia’s First Peoples, Mark will follow red dirt tracks along the slopes of the West MacDonnell Ranges, beside ancient winding riverbanks, across open plains, over towering mountains and into shaded gorges. At night, he'll camp under black skies filled with silver stars, and fall asleep to the nocturnal sounds of the desert.
