Football SA to broadcast all Men’s and Women’s National Premier League matches

In a major boost for local football fans, Football South Australia is thrilled to announce that it will be live streaming all Senior Men’s and Women’s National Premier League matches for Season 2020.

All 227 matches, which includes the Finals Series, will be broadcast live on the Football South Australia YouTube channel; a first for the state governing body.

The announcement brings opportunities for the league to showcase its talent to fans interstate and around the world.
All matches will feature graphics which will include up to the minute statistics, including corners, offsides and free kicks.

Local company Live Streaming Access will continue to produce the Men’s NPL “Match of the Round” broadcast each week to both Football SA’s Facebook and YouTube platforms, with commentary, while the remaining five other matches will be streamed without commentary to YouTube.

Football SA CEO Michael Carter said

“We are very proud to be announcing this exciting initiative in line with the growth of Football South Australia’s digital capabilities. We are excited to be giving NPLSA and WNPLSA fans the opportunity to watch as much of our local game as possible.”

The Men’s National Premier League season kicks off tonight, with champions Campbelltown City taking on Adelaide Blue Eagles at Steve Woodcock Sports Centre at 7.30 pm. This match is to be live-streamed to both Football SA’s Facebook and YouTube channels, with Saturday’s matches to be aired on the Football SA YouTube channel.
