Football SA Embark On Victoria For National Futsal Championships

Football South Australia is excited to be competing at the National Futsal Championships 2023 held in Melbourne, Victoria.

Football South Australia will bring across 9 teams to the 2023 National Championships, including Under 12, 13, 14, 15, 16 Boys, Under 13, 15, 17 Girls and AWD. A travelling party of 90 players will compete in five action-packed days of Futsal from 9-13 January 2023.

After two years of no tournaments due to COVID, FSA is back competing at the highest level of Futsal nationally. Junior Competitions and Futsal Coordinator Anthony Lanzoni says:

“It is fantastic to be back competing at Futsal Nationals after a couple of years. Futsal continues to grow in South Australia and our squads have been working tirelessly over the past few months to get themselves ready for this tournament. Our players, coaches and officials are excited to head to Melbourne to represent our state with pride.”

Three referees representing South Australia have also travelled, CoachesAndrew Murray and Raymond Grima and Match Officials: Jayden Betterman, Thomas Brinkworth and Denis Palushaj.
