Football SA gets behind MNDSA’s Walk to D’Feet MND

On 30th April, some of the team from Football SA’s HQ will be walking to defeat Motor Neurone Disease (MND).

The MNDSA’s Walk to D’Feet MND is their biggest fundraising event of the year. Aiming to raise over $150K, MNDSA put a call out for supporters to get behind the MND community in South Australia to help raise awareness and much needed funds to maintain vital support services.

Football SA is already supporting MNDSA with ongoing donations via the donation ‘TAP’ machine located in the Stadium Café at Service FM Stadium.

Mark Easton, Football South Australia Commercial General Manager, is delighted for the South Australian footballing family to partner with MND South Australia to raise awareness for vital funds for a cure for Motor Neurone Disease:

Football SA staff are grateful to have the opportunity to give back to MND South Australia and make a contribution towards improving the quality of life for those facing the motor neurone disease journey. Staff will be joining forces in the Walk to D’Feet MND to raise money towards funding specialist support and prolonging independence through improving care frameworks.”

Claymore Wines, Major Partner of Football South Australia, will also be actively participating in this great community event, by sponsoring their quality wines at the cheese and wine marquee, in addition to bringing a Claymore team to take on the ‘walk’ that starts at Adelaide’s Pinky Flat and meanders around the river.

If you’d like to join the Football SA and Claymore teams, and be a part of the action at the Walk to D’Feet MND on Sunday 30 April, simply register at MND SA - Event - Walk to D'Feet
