Football SA NTC set to jet off for the 2023 NTC Challenge

The 5-day NTC challenge tournament consisting of teams from Capital Football, Northern NSW, Football West, Queensland, Victoria, NSW and Regional NSW kicks-off Monday 10th July, allowing under 18 girls the opportunity to showcase their talent in front of Football Australia and Australian National Team Selectors in Clyde, Victoria.

The busy schedule begins with South Australia's first match-up against Football West on Day 1. Two matches await Football SA NTC on Day 2, opening the second day of competition with Queensland before closing the day out against Victoria. Day 3 sees South Australia facing Regional NSW before heading into 2 matches on Thursday against NSW and Northern NSW. The final day of the challenge has South Australia squaring up against tournament hosts, Capital Football to close out the competition as a curtain raiser to the Commbank Matildas taking on France in their FIFA Women's World Cup^TM send-off match.

Head Coach of Football SA NTC, Michele Lastella does not shy away from the importance of the Challenge as another step on the pathway to national team selection:
