The Football SA October School Holiday Futsal Carnival was a great success held on Friday 8 October at St Clair Recreation Centre. In what has become a regular school holiday occurrence the full day carnival provides opportunities for Football SA Academy players to participate in games as well as numerous social, club and association teams in a full day of futsal.
In total 17 teams participated, both boys and girls from U10 through to U16, which also included a Riverland U10.
All team splayed a minimum of 4 matches across the day, with a total of 45 matches being played across 3 pitches, which consisted of 115 players.
Football SA would like to thank all participants and the match officials for their involvement.
The futsal action continues with registrations still be accepted for Football SA’s Term 4 Futsal Academy which commences Tuesday 19 October 2021.
In addition to this 2021 Football SA State Futsal Championships are on the horizon, with nominations for the event to be held on the 14 and 15 December 2021 now open.
