“Adelaide Omonia Cobras is a proud Club with a strong history. We have always supported Football South Australia in my tenure as President and have never been an agitator of the game. As a Club, we believe we had a strong position to take this matter through the Court system however, as we edge close to the commencement of the Season, did not want our issue to affect other Clubs. In taking that into strong consideration our committee has determined to withdraw this matter in the best interest of the game so that we can all focus on the commencement of the Season. We have recruited well and are determined to be promoted to State League 1 for 2023”.

Football SA CEO Michael Carter, said:

“Football South Australia welcomes and accepts Adelaide Omonia Cobras position on the matter and is glad that certainty can be provided to Clubs in regard to the commencement of the Season.”
