Football South Australia Partners with The Heart Foundation for Community Walking Groups

Football South Australia has recently become a Host Organisation by partnering with Heart Foundation Walking to promote healthier and more active lifestyles within our community.

In line with our commitment to fostering a fit and vibrant community, FSA will be hosting free walking groups in partnership with The Heart Foundation.

What is Heart Foundation Walking?

The Heart Foundation Walking program is a commendable initiative that health professionals can recommend to patients to encourage regular physical activity. As Australia's trusted peak body dedicated to heart health, The Heart Foundation has been tirelessly working to improve heart disease prevention, detection, and support for all Australians. More than 300,000 participants across the country have stepped up with Heart Foundation Walking.

Free and easy to join, Heart Foundation Walking offers support and motivation to those wanting be more physically active or get more out of walking.

We are looking for an enthusiastic person to lead walks around our Gepps Cross base.

How You Can Get Involved

Participating in the walking groups is easy, and anyone can join. The walks will be conducted around the ServiceFM Stadium providing a scenic and accessible environment for everyone. The charming State Centres Cafe is our meeting point, offering the perfect setting to connect with others before and after our walking around the venue. We encourage you to be part of this initiative, take a step towards better health, and enjoy the camaraderie of fellow community members.
