Football SA conducted a Futsal Coaching Certificate of Friday 8 October 2021 at St Clair Recreation Centre; the first Futsal coaching certificate to be held in more than 18 months.
A total of 15 participants were engaged with the 3 hour course which covered the fundamentals of Futsal together with other information on simple formations of play. The course also witnessed a number of Football SA State Futsal Team Coaches and Managers in readiness for the upcoming Football Australia National Futsal Championships to be held in the Gold Coast between 5- 9 January 2022. The course encouraged several group discussions aimed at sharing experiences, both in the classroom and on the Futsal pitch and was very well received.
In addition to the recent Futsal Coaching Certificate, this Saturday 16 October 2021 the Futsal Coaching Licence is scheduled.

Futsal Coaching Licence
When undertaking the 8 hour Community Futsal License course one will experience a similar atmosphere to the a Futsal Certificate course. It is totally practical and has the same focus on group discussion to assist learning outcomes. Naturally the course covers the game in greater detail by delving into more tactical aspects of the game and is aimed at coaches working with players above the age of 13. This course has been developed from the FIFA Futsal coaching manual and permission has been sought to use some of the practices from that resource.
