Congratulations are in order for South Australia’s very own Charlotte Grant & Riley McGree, as they prepare to represent Australia at the Olympics.
Charlie started her footballing journey with Cumberland United Women’s Football Club, before plying her trade in the Football SA system and most recently with Adelaide United, before moving to Sweden.
The Matildas will battle it out in Group G, where they take on the might of the USA, as well as Sweden and New Zealand (tonight at 9 pm, 7HD).
Riley began his football journey in Gawler, and slowly rose through the Football SA program, all the way up through to Adelaide United.
The Olyroos have a challenging fixture list with Argentina (Thursday at 8 pm, 7HD), Spain and Egypt to play.
