This Saturday 14 September at Coopers Stadium will be an action-packed day, with the NPL, WNPL, and State Leagues 1 and 2 Grand Finals, proudly presented by Boral, taking place.
The day will kick off at 11.30am, with Adelaide Hills Hawks Football Club, who just missed out on promotion into State League 1 last season, taking on the Vipers FC. After being knocked out of last seasons Finals Series in Round 2, Vipers now set their sights on silverware following their promotion into State League 1.
At 2.00pm Modbury Jets SC, who missed out on the Grand Final last season after bowing out to Adelaide Blue Eagles in the semi-finals, will be taking on Cumberland United Football Club. An NPL side in 2017, will be looking to make a statement in the Grand Final before preparing for an NPL season in 2020.
At 4.30pm the WNPL Grand Final will feature West Adelaide Womens SC and Adelaide City FC. West Adelaide hoping to avenge their defeat to Adelaide City in the Cup Final this year. While Adelaide City have the chance to go three championships in a row.
Campbelltown City Soccer & Social Club have the chance to go back to back, a feat no NPL side has managed since 2008, in this Saturday’s NPL Grand Final when they face Adelaide Comets FC at 7.00pm. This will be Comets first Grand Final, after failing to get past the preliminary stage until now.
