Formed as The Polonia Adelaide Sports club in 1950 by Alex Cmielewski and Karol Metanomski, Croydon Kings have enjoyed many wonderful memories, relishing the golden era of the ’60s and 70’s followed by NPLSA championship-winning triumphs in 2014 and 2017.
Now the club finds itself at an emotional crossroads, as they prepare to say goodbye to their South Road home at Polonia Reserve with an uncertain future without a place to call home.
In this heart-warming episode, we celebrate the memories that took place at Polonia and speak with some special people that are proud to be a part of the famous red and whites.
Get down to Polonia Reserve on Saturday 10th August and support Croydon Kings as they say goodbye to Polonia Reserve when they play Raiders. Kick-off 3 pm.
