Football SA has appointed Daniel Goodwin as the Referee for the 2022 Football SA Federation Cup Final, being played at State Centre for Football tomorrow afternoon.
A veteran of nearly 300 Senior fixtures in the middle in South Australia, this will be Daniel’s third Federation Cup Final, having refereed the Final in both 2017 and 2021.
Daniel will be joined tomorrow by Nick Elagin & Andrew Kite as Assistant Referees, with Daniel Cook the Fourth Official.
Promising young Match Official Jayden Toohey has been selected as the Shadow Referee for the match, and will join the Match Officials team to experience the Cup Final environment. He will have a front-row seat to the action unfolding before and during the match, as well as being involved in the post-match debriefing with the Match Officials team and the Referee Coach, Zainal Abiddin Kassim.
