Football SA is pleased to announce that Joe-Jordan Tripodi has been appointed as the Referee for the 2023 Go Sunny Solar Women’s National Premier Leagues SA Grand Final, being played at ServiceFM Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
This will be Joe-Jordan’s second Women’s NPL SA Grand Final, having previously refereed the 2021 decider – also featuring Salisbury Inter – that was held at Summit Sports & Recreation Park, Mt Barker.
Tripodi will be joined on Friday by Referee Academy members Joseph Bojcevski & Tyson van Dijk as Assistant Referees, with the vastly-experienced Curtis Wordsworth appointed as the Fourth Official.
Promising young Match Official Sophie Betterman has been selected as the Shadow Referee for the match, and will join the Match Officials team to experience the Go Sunny Solar Women’s NPL SA Grand Final environment. She will have a front-row seat to the action unfolding before and during the match, as well as being involved in the post-match debriefing with the Match Officials team and the Referee Coach, Paul Duncan.
