Mitise Health & Fitness joins as naming rights partner for inaugral WNPL South Australia Pre-Season Cup

Football Federation South Australia (FFSA) is delighted to announce Mitise Health & Fitness and JMSC – Josh Mitise Strength and Conditioning, as the naming rights partner of the inaugural WNPL Pre-Season Cup Competition, to be recognised as the Mitise Cup.

The Mitise Cup was introduced to provide clubs from South Australia’s top tier of local women’s football, the Women’s National Premier League, the best platform to prepare for the up coming season.

For seven years, Mitise has worked closely with individual female football athletes in the international, national and local arenas to prepare their bodies for football whilst developing their awareness around the necessity of structured strength & conditioning programs for injury reduction and increased sporting performance.

FFSA Women’s Competition Coordinator Firas Shahin, is delighted to welcome Mitise Health and Fitness as naming rights partner.


Having worked with players such as Alex Chidiac, Emily Condon, Maria Jose Rojas and Jenna McCormick, Mitise has a proven record of working with high profile female football athletes. It is great to have Mitise working with our WNPL clubs to increase the knowledge and understanding of Strength and Conditioning. The inaugural Mitise Cup will be a great start to a strong partnership between FFSA and Mitise Health & Fitness and JMSC – Josh Mitise Strength and Conditioning”.

With the naming of this Cup, Mitise wishes to reinforce the message that with a base level of structured strength & conditioning we can reduce the risk, the rate and the incidence of injuries in our female footballers at every level, keeping them on the park longer and ensuring longevity in a league that is as enjoyable to watch as it is as enjoyable to play in.”

The first round of the Mitise Cup kicks-off tomorrow evening at VALO Football Centre (The Parks), with double-headers being played across two pitches throughout February.

The winner of the Cup will receive $1,000 value in towards services available through Mitise Health and Fitness.
