Football SA will advise of the re-scheduled date at a later time. The Under 18 and Reserves matches will still proceed on 11 July as scheduled.
Michael Carter, CEO, Football SA said:
“Football SA and Adelaide United FC have been working closely together during this period of time to ensure that the National Premier League squad is able to participate in the competition while still providing a player pathway to the A-League squad.
With a number of players being quarantined with the A-League squad, the remaining players on Adelaide United’s squad list has an average age of only 17.
The integrity of our competitions is paramount and this postponement ensures that the match can be played when both teams have their full squad available.”
