Call for candidates for the position of Director, Football South Australia
Nominations are now open for candidates to fill three (3) vacancies for the position of Football SA Director.
At this year’s AGM, there will be elections for three (3) Elected Director vacancies. Joe Franco and Symoane Mercurio are retiring at the end of their first term as an Elected Director, while Tony Taormina’s second and final term as a director will come to an end. Only Joe Franco and Symoane Mercurio are eligible to stand for election as Elected Directors.
Nominations open on Monday 4 March 2024.

Candidates are also asked to supply: -
- a CV or other documentation which illustrates they meet the Core Competencies for Directors (per article 10.12(j) of the Constitution); and
- a photo and brief statement able to be distributed to Football South Australia Members in preparation for voting at the AGM.
Once all documentation is received by the Returning Officer, the documentation will be submitted to the Nominations Committee who per article 12 (b) of the Constitution, will then consider and confirm which of the nominated candidates are eligible for election. The Committee will then notify the FSA Directors per the Returning Officer and this information will be notified to Football SA Members and included in the Notice of AGM to be sent to all Members.
