It's top vs bottom tonight at OSullivans Beach Sports and Community Centre as Panthers welcomes NPL champions Campbelltown City.
The Panthers finds themselves with a bit of momentum after three consecutive draws, but realistically need to find wins if they have any chance in pulling off the great escape.
In their first game since losing star player Liam Wooding, Panthers played some entertaining football and scored two outstanding goals in round 14's 3-3 draw at MetroStars.
Campbelltown City will have their tails wagging after Wednesdays FFA Cup draw pipping them against A-League side Melbourne City.
The champions are showing championship form with six wins from their last seven games which have seen them open up a three-point gap at the top of the ladder.
The Red Devils demolished South Adelaide 5-1 in the last time the two sides met, which was back in round four.

Both sides are coming off a 1-week break due to last weekend's cup final. MetroStars are coming off a disappointing 3-3 draw with South Adelaide Panthers (match highlights here) last Saturday afternoon. We went in at half-time ahead thanks to goals from Christian Esposito and Stefan Cali. With 10 minutes to go, we were behind 3-2 courtesy of a brace from David Thornton and a brilliant strike from Joel Smith before Lachlan Barr's goal from close range rescued a point. MetroStars currently sit third on the ladder, six points behind leaders Campbelltown City.
Meanwhile, Adelaide Comets are coming off a 2-1 loss at home against Adelaide Olympic and are without a win in 5 league games. Ricardo Da Silva put the visitors ahead early before captain Allan Welsh equalised to bring the teams level at half time. Ioannis Simosis won the game for the away side in the 81st minute. Coach Kon Antoniou will be asking for a response from his squad against the team that dismantled them 4-1 back in March.
Tom Strain is unlikely to feature having only lasted 40 minutes in the Reserves a fortnight ago. Cohan Morris is a possibility after overcoming a hamstring injury. Dylan Smith will return to the squad after missing the game against South Adelaide. Nahuel Bonada is a possibility to make his debut from the bench, having scored in his Reserves debut.

Para Hills welcomes Adelaide Blue Eagles to the Paddocks on Saturday afternoon with both sides looking for vital points at both ends of the table.
The home side finds themselves five points adrift of the drop zone, while the visitors are just three points off top spot.
After three consecutive defeats, Knights grabbed a valuable point at Croydon Kings in Round 14 but could have had more if it wasn't for a spectacular penalty save from John Hall, keeping out Tyler Bailey.

Adelaide City entertains Raiders at Oakden on Saturday afternoon in another game on high importance for both teams.
City will be looking to bounce back immediately after its crushing 3-2 FFA Cup SA Qualifying Final defeat to Adelaide Olympic at Coopers Stadium on Saturday.
City boss Michael Matricciani referred to his side playing "fourteen cup finals" previously to the Cup Final, and this will be no different.
The famous Black and Whites have brought in ex-Adelaide United winger Fabio Ferriera to boost their squad, as they look to make up a three-point gap in the relegation dog fight.
Raiders though are still looking competitive for a finals berth despite their entertaining 5-2 defeat to NPL champs Campbelltown City a fortnight ago.

The FFA Cup SA winners, Adelaide Olympic, welcomes Croydon Kings to VALO Football Centre on Saturday night in a bid to carry on momentum after Saturday's history-making cup win.
Croydon Kings though will be looking to spoil the party, with 'Polonia' finding themselves just a point behind Olympic.
Olympic comes off a great 2-1 league win at Adelaide Comets in the last round, with Ricardo DaSilva slotting home an outrageous free-kick before new signing Ioannis Simosis heading home late on to give Olympic all three points.

Adelaide United Youth returns to action against West Adelaide on Saturday, looking to record their first win in eight matches.
However, they have drawn their past three matches after succumbing to four straight defeats and lie four points clear of this weekend’s opponents.
Young Reds utility, Yared Abetew, said Adelaide must turn their recent positive displays into three points.
“It’s been a long time coming, I think we’ve definitely been playing well over the last few weeks but just struggling to get the win,” he said.
“We start games well but let teams get some lucky goals you could say.
“But we’re definitely looking to get the three points this weekend and get back to winning ways and keen to make the top six.”
Abetew began the season predominantly at centre-back, but has featured at right-back and more recently protecting the back four as a defensive midfielder.
His versatility has been useful for Head Coach, Paul Pezos, with the 20-year-old admitting he is just glad to contribute to the team.
“I started off the season playing in centre-back but I guess with some of the boys away Louis D’Arrigo, for example, I’ve slotted into the midfield, playing as a defensive midfielder,” he revealed.
“I think it’s been good and it’s working well on my side and I think just a bit of balance in the midfield and just doing what I can really at the moment – anything to benefit the team.
“And whatever position Paul Pezos puts me in I’ll give what I can for the team and if it works, it works.”
For 10th place West Adelaide, they have played out five consecutive draws, since suffering a 4-1 loss to MetroStars.
Abetew knows his side must be at their best to secure the win and to maintain hope of a finals appearance.
“I think we definitely can’t underestimate any side in this league,” he said.
“It’s pretty tight at the moment and I definitely think we need to work as a collective group and everything does their roles and I think we’re definitely good enough to get the three points.
“It’s just a matter of how we come out on game day.”
