Modbury Jets vs Campbelltown City
Venue: Smith Partners Stadium
Date: 13/03/2020 08:15 PM

Jason Trimboli's Jets are flying high and maintain an unbeaten start to the campaign. They face champions Campbelltown City at home under the lights of Smith Partners Stadium on Friday night.

The newly-promoted side were dished a reality check last weekend, surrendering a two-goal lead against the youngsters of Adelaide United.  But the Jets held on to a point to see them head into Round Four top of the pile.

Campbelltown City are seemingly starting life under Phil Stubbins at a moderate pace, with two draws and a win from their first three matches.

The Red Devils were held to a 1-1 draw to Croydon Kings last weekend but will be relieved that new signing Joshua Barresi getting off the mark for his new club.

Tonight, Joel Allwright plays his 300th senior match. Football SA congratulates Joel on his landmark.

Cumberland United vs Para Hills Knights
Venue: A.A Bailey Reserve
Date: 14/03/2020 03:00 PM

Two sides at the wrong end of the table playoff in an early six-pointer on Saturday afternoon, as a winless Cumberland United welcomes Para Hills Knights to AA Bailey Reserve.

The Foxes though were much improved last weekend against Comets, going down to a slender 1-0 loss. A missed penalty from Cumberland made the defeat taste even bitter.

Theo Tsiounis welcomes Isaac Mullen back into the side after serving a suspension after his red card against Modbury Jets a fortnight ago.

Adelaide City vs Adelaide Comets
Venue: Adelaide City Park
Date: 14/03/2020 05:00 PM

A feast of NPL football takes place at Oakden on Saturday afternoon as both Men's and Women's NPL matches form a doubleheader.

In the Men's match, both sides have shown early signs of promise as the season starts to stretch its legs.

City are unbeaten in their opening matches and are showing some bright sparks early on. The Black and Whites locked horns with MetroStars last weekend and played out an entertaining 1-1 draw, with both sides well worthy of the point.

Comets narrowly overcame a struggling Cumberland United last weekend 1-0. Barney Smith's side have only scored twice in their opening games this season but their two clean sheets make them hard to beat.

MetroStars vs Adelaide Blue Eagles
Venue: TK Shutter Reserve
Date: 14/03/2020 07:30 PM
Words by Jason Cavey (@JasonKVOfficial)

MetroStars head into this match after a frustrating 1-1 draw at home to Adelaide City. An even first half ended with a Marcos Flores header giving the visitors the lead, although the hosts can count themselves as unfortunate to not have the goal ruled offside. The introduction of Cooper O'Donnell off the bench sparked renewed energy for Metro with the youngster setting up Christian Esposito for a well-deserved equaliser. Both sides had chances to win it, however, Isaac Carmody was required to pull off a great last-ditch save in the last minute.

Meanwhile, Adelaide Blue Eagles are coming off a 1-0 loss at home to Raiders on Monday night. The hosts were awarded a penalty in the 12th minute however Evan Kounavelis spot-kick was saved by Nick Munro. English striker Alun Webb gave Raiders in the 30th minute, beating 3 defenders and rifling his shot past Richard Goss. This was enough for Raiders to earn a victory and all three points.

Tom Strain and Anthony Solagna are back in contention this week following their injuries which will be a huge boost to Rob Saraceno's side.

Adelaide Olympic vs Adelaide United FC
Venue: VALO Football Centre
Date: 14/03/2020 07:00 PM

Olympic welcomes a confident Adelaide United side to VALO Football Centre on Saturday night.

With no home advantage for either side and confidence high on all counts, expect a fast-paced matchup here.

Olympic scored late at The Paddocks to secure a 1-0 win last week, while Adelaide United came back from a two-goal first-half deficit to grab a point. Mohamed Toure pulled the Young Reds back into the match with a thunderous strike.

Depending on the Modbury Jets v Campbelltown result, both sides here could have the opportunity to jump to the top of the NPLSA tree.
