FFSA's Sold Out Awards Night is 1 Day Away

The 2018 annual Celebration of Football, to be held at the Adelaide Convention Centre is just one day away with this year’s event set to be the Federation’s largest to date, with a sold-out attendance of 900 members of the football family set to attend.

The event, which brings together representatives of South Australia’s vast football community will recognise the achievements of clubs and individuals from FFSA’s Affiliated Associations, Men’s and Women’s National Premier and State Leagues, Community Leagues and honour our highest achieving match officials.

The awards night also provides the football community with the opportunity to celebrate the achievements of individuals who have significantly contributed to the sport and have been inducted into the prestigious Hall of Fame. This year, Franca Di Bartolo and Fraser McLean will be inducted under the category of Hall of Champions for their outstanding performance in the game.

The 2017 Celebration of Football saw Liam Wooding crowned the National Premier League Player of the Year – Sergio Melta Medalist and Nicole Tilley was awarded the Shirley Brown Medal as the Player of the Year for the Women’s National Premier League. Will these two replicate their achievements in 2018 or given the year that Campbelltown City has had, National Premier League Premiers and Champions as well as National Premier Leagues Final Series Champions, will it be a player from the Red Devils to take out the top honour?

Stay tuned to FFSA’s Facebook page and @FFSA1 on Twitter for live updates throughout the night.
