47 regional teams ready for the return of SAJSA State Championships

South Australian Junior Soccer Associations (SAJSA) are pleased to announce that the 2021 State Championships will return for 2021 and is to be held between June 12 to 14 at Barratt Reserve, West Beach.

The event will make its coveted return, showcasing the best talent the state has to offer, after being cancelled last year due to COVID-19 restrictions and guidelines.

47 teams will compete across 177 games over the three days, including four teams from Port Lincoln and eight from the Limestone Coast and Riverland. Some other teams include Broken Hill, Whyalla, Adelaide Hills, Noarlunga and Roxby Downs.

Ray Matthews, President of SAJSA, said it was good to see many teams registering after last years shortfalls.

“All Member Associations are fielding a good complement of age groups, so we wish all teams the best of luck and trust all concerned enjoy the weekend and meet new friends.”

The event will consist of a COVID plan granted by SA Health, with all attendees required to use the available QR code or fill out the contact form. All attendees who avoid this will be given fines where applicable.
