To all attendees and especially the COVID Marshals that attended, from all the Associations to the State Championships, SAJSA sincerely thanks you.

The weather turned out perfect and all games were very spirited and played in a very sportsmanship manner. We are pleased to announce that over the 107 games played only 2 yellow cards and 1 red card was issued. This is a credit to all players involved.

SAJSA also sends a special thank you to Andy Murray for co-ordinating the officials during the weekend, and also to all the referees that willingly gave their time over the 3 days to make sure the players received excellent officials.

It was gratifying to see that the trophies were spread over several various Associations and pleasing to see the regional members such as Port Lincoln, Broken Hill, Roxby Downs and Coober Pedy, all with limited numbers to choose from, return some good results.

I also thank all of my Executive Board members that worked diligently during the weekend to observe social distancing and assist with droopy nets, missing corner flags and any other minor problems that arose over the weekend.

Last but not least a special thank you to all attending, players, Coaches, Managers, officials and all parents, that co-operated with the Covid plan rules that made our job so much easier.

We look forward to seeing you all again at the Country event.

Ray Matthews
