Michael Cooper, the Technical Director of Football South Australia (FSA), commended the players and staff for their outstanding representation of the state.

"Our players and staff represented SA very well, and they should be very proud of how they performed. Each day, the players were brave in playing and finding solutions. They always fought hard collectively to win the ball back, and off the field, they were fantastic. We have some key learnings to work on with individual players for their futures, but also for us coaches to add to our programs moving forward to help the state continue to be one of the leading states for player development. Thank you once again to all the parents for your continued support and for providing these opportunities for your children."

Richie Alagich, FSA's Player Development Lead for Boys, also expressed his gratitude to the dedicated staff who traveled to support the players.

"Football SA also thanks the staff that traveled. The time, dedication, and care given to the players this week certainly helped ensure that the players had the best possible experience."

The National Youth Championships 2023 Boys' not only served as a platform for competition but also as a valuable learning experience for the young athletes. South Australia's U15 and U16 teams demonstrated their potential and laid the foundation for future success in the world of football.
