Salisbury Inter vs West Adelaide
Venue: VALO Football Centre
Date: 14/06/2019 06:15 PM

After an upset win in last weekend’s top-of-the-table clash with Adelaide City, 2nd placed West now faces 3rd placed Salisbury Inter in another crucial battle.

The blue and whites have suffered a massive blow with the loss of midfielder Maddie Du Rieu through injury; however, their defence and keeper Sarah Willacy have proved to be among the team’s strengths. After keeping City scoreless for most of last Friday’s game, they’ll provide a test for Inter’s gun goal scorers, Emily Condon and Esther Heywood-Smith.

The Salisbury outfit might feel that drawing with Metro last weekend was a missed opportunity after it took an early lead but a win tonight would still see Inter leapfrog West. The early clash at VALO could be the match of the round.

FFSA NTC  vs Metro United WFC
Venue: VALO Football Centre
Date: 14/06/2019 08:15 PM

FFSA NTC jumped into 6th place with last weekend’s win over Fulham and showed that the young side has continued to improve throughout the year. But the battle at the bottom remains tight.

The contrast in experience between these teams could hardly be bigger and while Metro hasn’t been challenging for top spot as it normally would, its proud players will be desperate to keep themselves in the top four to qualify for finals.

But the goals have dried up for Metro with last weekend’s Donna Cockayne equaliser against Salisbury Inter breaking a barren spell that had lasted for more than four hours.

In April, Metro put eight past the NTC girls. It’s hard to see a similar outcome this evening.

FFSA NTC  line-up: 1. Erin Murphy (GK), 2. Zoe Tolland, 3. Michaela Belmonte, 6. Ella Tonkin, 7. Talia Bilardo, 8. Gabriella Demarco, 11. Lara Kirkby, 15. Sarah Branford, 17. Lily Di Cola, 19. Ellie Sparrow, 20. Abbey Burns, 23. Emilia Murray, 24. Abby Middleton, 52. Khal Adam Khan

Metro United WFC line-up: 1. Olivia Beer (GK), 2. Ebony Kyriacou, 7. Millie Scott, 8. Chrissy Panagaris, 9. Roxann Dodd, 10. Eleanor Bills, 12. Rochelle Kuhar, 14. Donna Cockayne, 17. Adelaide Comets vs Fulham United
Venue: West Beach Parks Football Centre
Date: 14/06/2019 08:00 PM

With these two sides occupying the bottom two places on the ladder, everything will be on the line in the late match at West Beach.

Comets again showed their competitiveness last weekend but, not for the first time, the three points were elusive because of their inability to find the back of the net. Sarah Chappel’s goal in the surprise draw with West in Round 11 is the only one the side has scored in its last four matches.

A patch of good form for Fulham has been halted over the last fortnight with a 4-3 loss to Salisbury Inter and a 1-0 loss to FFSA NTC. These sides drew 0-0 in April. Tonight’s battle promises to be another close one.

Adelaide Comets line-up: 1. Tessa Touchette (GK), 2. Vanja Todorovic, 3. Hannah Wall, 7. Elise Garlick, 9. Victoria Mansueto, 11. Emma Wiltshire, 14. Rachel Hampton, 16. Sarah Chappel (C), 23. Adelaide University vs Adelaide City FC
Venue: West Beach Parks Football Centre
Date: 14/06/2019 06:15 PM

In April, Adelaide City bounced back from a loss against West with a 2-0 victory over Adelaide University and will be looking for a similar response tonight. The black and white’s vaunted attack of Di Bartolo, Yuka Sasaki, Dawber and Powell found the going tough in last week’s derby and will hope to regain the goalscoring form that had seen City net 36 times in the previous six matches.

Adelaide Uni has only one win from its last seven outings and its players might feel that they missed an opportunity to close in on the top four last week after being held by Comets.

This would seem an unlikely fixture for a turnaround in form but a loss would see the team’s hopes of playing in the finals lengthen. Can the likes of Laura Johns, Mawa Sumaoro, Mia Lundquist and Georgia Iannella lift their side to a famous upset?

Adelaide University line-up: 1. Evelyn Goldsmith (GK), 2. Elle Pirintzis, 3. Elysha Magor, 4. Gemma Macfarlane, 7. Mia Lundquist, 10. Georgia Iannella, 11. Laura Johns (C), 12. Georgia Box, 13. Mabel Day, 14. Pirrie Weeks, 17. Natalie Hayman, 19. Deva Kljajic, 22. Elyse Moon, 26. Georgina Toome, 30. Mawa Sumaoro, 38. Lauren Mather
Coaches: Kosta Jaric, Andrej Djakovic, Alex Macdonald, Hayley Truskewycz
Team Staff: Giorgio Profiris, Thierry Folly

Adelaide City FC line-up: 1. Kendall Jenner, 2. Alicia Nickolas, 3. Matilda Mcnamara, 4. Daniela Di Bartolo, 5. Alyce Macauley, 6. Nora Peat, 8. Dylan Holmes, 10. Chelsie Dawber, 12. Georgia Campagnale, 15. Bianca Gray, 16. Isobel Dahlen-Flight, 17. Tiarn Powell (C), 19. Daphne Mcleod, 33. Nanako Sasaki, 40. Yuka Sasaki, 45. Claudia Jenkins (GK)
Coaches: Andrew Calderbank, Mitchell Daly, Brian Gale
Team Staff: Seymour Di Bartolo, Rachael Jaensch, Frank Coghlan
