The Real Adelaide Derby is back in 2019 with a blockbuster to take place at West Beach.  West Adelaide is coming off a devasting 1-0 loss to Adelaide Uni whilst the undefeated City will aim to keep a 7-0 record heading into next weeks Easter round. City looks unstoppable heading into the colder months of the season. with Mikayla Vidmar set to make her debut for Adelaide City tonight to further strengthen a very skillful squad. Adelaide City comes into the derby as holders of the Real Adelaide Derby trophy, and the West Adelaide squad will be looking to claim it for the first time against their rivals.

Metro United WFC vs Salisbury Inter

For the 3rd week in a row, we have another top end clash. Metro will look to hold Inter to a halt after their strong start to the season. Metro is coming off a disappointing 4-2 loss to City last week after leading early on. Salisbury ensured Fulham don’t climb the ladder and beat them 4-1 at The Parks. If Inter wins tonight, they will equal the total amount of games they won last season, and that is the goal the club wishes to achieve this season. if Calder and Condon keep up their great start to the season, we might see a new contender for the “top three” in season 2019.

FFSA NTC  vs Fulham United

The bottom sides for 2019 meet for a match that could make or break the season for these squads. NTC will be looking to bounce from a disappointing start to the season, coach Michele Lastella has stated this match to be “crunch time” for his squad. Fulham will be out to remove themselves from the bottom spot. Fulham will be looking to beat the best young talent we have in SA and show NTC that experience is key in this league, and not just the talent. This will be one of the games to watch this round.

Adelaide Comets vs Adelaide University

Adelaide Comets are looking to continue their winning streak after knocking off NTC 2-0 last week to secure their first win the WNPL. Adelaide Uni, however, will be sure to put the newcomers in their place after coming in with confidence following a 1-0 win over West Adelaide in Round 5.  Adelaide Uni has had a steady start to the season, sitting in 4th spot. Adelaide Comets, however, are looking to climb the table and striker Victoria Mansueto is in hot form and will look to continue through the Adelaide Uni pack, which has quite a bit of W-League Experience. Adelaide Comets are the only team to not have 2018/19 W-League experience and they will be sure to prove to the league that they can still be a competitive side under coach Tony Mansueto.
