Adelaide Uni shot stopper, Evelyn Goldsmith, comes up against her old team for the first time in the 2019 season. She will be out to ensure that her old NTC don’t get their first win of the season. Adelaide Uni are coming off a strong 2-0 win over Fulham last round, whilst NTC still struggles to get their first points of 2019 after a 2-1 loss to Salisbury Inter. Both teams will be out to show the remainder of the league that they are finals contenders after Uni failed to qualify in 2018. Uni have Mullan, Day, Box, Macfarlane and Goldsmith who are all 2018 NTC graduates out to show their former club what the program has taught them over the years.

Adelaide City FC vs Salisbury Inter

Salisbury Inter have already proven the predictions of Rob Greenword to be “questioned” after winning 3 from 3 to open their 2019 season. after a disappointing 6th position in 2018, Inter signed the heavyweights of Rydon, Condon and Calder to strengthen their line-up and earn themselves a finals birth. This top of the table clash will be one tight encounter when City and Inter take the field. City are coming off a tough 3-2 win over Adelaide Comets, Whilst Inter are coming off a cruisy 2-1 win over NTC. This game is showing too hard to predict and definitely the one to watch this round.

Fulham will out to show why are a powerhouse of women’s football when they take the field tonight against Metro United. After a steady start by incumbent Metro coach, Tony Scalzi, Metro are showing their true skills with being the only other undefeated team this season. Reigning golden boot winner, Chrissy Panagaris will be out to score again, after scoring in each game so far this season. Fulham However have much to prove, with a fairly new and young squad, coach John Ebbs has a bit to prove to the club and show his technical skills to ensure Metro remain goalless. On paper this match may be in favour of Metro, however Fulham are sure to be hungry in their quest to secure their first points of the season.

Adelaide Comets may not have impressed on the scoresheet, however, being newly promoted and playing Metro United, Adelaide City and West Adelaide in the first 4 rounds is not an easy ask. Having impressed the league last week after a thrilling 3-2 loss to City, head coach Tony Mansueto has proved to the league he has a team of determined players who will fight to climb the table. West Adelaide are coming off a nail-biting 2-1 loss to Metro United and will be out to get redemption tonight and climb into the top 2 with a win over the Comets. This should be a real test for both teams with Comets hoping to have a good result after a tough first 4 rounds.
