Football South Australia is looking for a Commercial and Sponsorship Coordinator. Please see full details below. 

The Commercial and Sponsorship Coordinator contribute to the development and progress of football in South Australia by supporting Football South Australia’s corporate partners, marketing strategies and services across all marketing platforms.

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Assist in the coordination of and implementation of Football South Australia’s marketing campaigns, projects and activities. 
  • Coordinate competition and community content via our communication channels in South Australia.
  • Assist in the delivery of, and activation of our corporate sponsorship agreements including advertising packages to secure investment from other potential partners/advertisers.
  • Fulfil and service sponsorship agreements on behalf of Football South Australia.
  • Assist with the delivery of Football South Australia’s sponsorship campaigns and activities to drive commercial growth.
  • Plan, schedule, track and report the implementation of the digital strategy for marketing and sponsorship campaigns.
  • Manage and maintain successful relationships with commercial stakeholders.
  • Undertake market research as required and track digital and marketing trends, industry standards and competitor benchmarking.
  • Prepare communications to the football community detailing announcements of partnerships and community activities conducted by Football South Australia.

Knowledge, skills and behavior required 

The following skills and qualifications are essential:

  • A degree in Marketing or the equivalent in training, education and/or experience
  • Experience in developing and maintaining new digital technologies and strategies for websites, social media and other online communications
  • Advanced skills and experience in Microsoft Office products
  • Excellent communication (written & verbal) skills 
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Demonstrated organisational and administrative skills with the ability to plan, coordinate and execute tasks and projects through to completion whilst meeting deadlines, balancing competing demands and having a specific attention to detail
  • Ability to work with limited direction to initiate procedures, set priorities and manage tasks
  • Enthusiasm and a high-level of self-motivation and initiative, both independently and as a part of a team
  • Consistently proactive, taking initiative whenever possible

The following skills and qualifications are desirable:

  • Experience or knowledge of the football industry 
  • Skills and experience in Canva and Adobe Creative Suite products (Premier Pro, Photoshop, After Effects)

A current working with Children Check

Current Driver's License
