Contributed to the game of football as a Player, Coach, Fourth Official, Linesman, Referee and Administrator and is a Life Member Soccer SA Referees and Life Member of Football South Australia
Between 1986 & 2015 was a Committee Member of the Australian Soccer Referees Federation SA Division during which time he was Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer along with being Equipment & Supply Officer. In addition he was National Secretary / National Referees Commission in 2001 – 2002
In other capacities he was the Match Officials Coordinator for Olympic Games Football in Adelaide also in 2004 he was the Referees Coordinator for Oceania in 2005 was Referees Coordinator for the 10th Australian Masters Games. In 2007 was coordinator for the 2007 World Police & Fire Games again in 2015 was called on again to be Coordinator for Match Officials for the World Masters Games
