Beginning in 2014, Female Football Week is an annual initiative aimed at elevating women and girls and their contribution to football across all aspects of the game. In the wake of a monumental year for Australian football, following the success of the CommBank Matildas on the world stage, there is no better time than now to recognise the community champions and trailblazers across our game!

Female Football Week will take place from 3 - 12 May 2024. The theme #WeRise is a celebration of Australian women's football, as we rise together to elevate women and girls in football, highlighting the sense of community in women's football, both on and off the field.

Through OUR GAME we aim to harness the power of football to build an inclusive and diverse game that embraces, positively influences, celebrates, and elevates women and girls, to own and drive the future of women’s football.

Join OUR GAME and together #WeRise.
