Football South Australia is delighted to confirm that registrations are now open for the highly popular 'C' Diploma.
The course will take place at ServiceFM Stadium, Gepps Cross from 9th December 2023 to 21st January 2024. There will be 24 spots available. More course to be schedule February and March 2024, registration will be open soon.
The 'C' Diploma will be delivered by Football SA Technical Director, Michael Cooper.
Course Description
Coaches at all levels play a crucial role in ensuring that football is an enjoyable experience for everyone, as well as laying the foundation for the development of better players. As such, our Coach Education courses have been designed to support you in whatever role you have within football.
The Football Australia 'C' Diploma is the first step on the Football Australia advanced pathway that is designed to help you become a better coach. Course Outcomes
The main focus of the required coaching competency on the ‘C’ Diploma is on the technical aspects of the game, which includes teaching the techniques of passing, receiving, striking the ball and running with the ball, along with defending techniques to regain possession.
The required technical knowledge will be supported with an understanding of The Principles of Play and the fundamentals of coaching. Participants will be introduced to the concept of teaching behaviour in different types of practice methods as part of the education program, but also to provide insight into the ‘B’ Diploma.
