Football SA host first nationwide B Licence since the return of football

Football SA has become the first member federation in Australia to host an FFA/AFC 'B' Licence since the state returned to football participation following the temporary suspension of competitions due to the impact of COVID-19.

22 coaches, including 18 male and 4 female coaches, completed Part One of the course at West Beach Parks Football Centre last week.

Coaches from a range of levels including National Premier League Assistants, Junior Premier League, Junior State League and Technical Directors all took part.

Football SA Coach Education Manager, Alec Wilson said;

It was great to be able to be the first in the country to get this course rescheduled and delivered after the disruption of the season.

It's an intense week and sets candidates up well to head back to their own coaching environments to apply the course materials.

The 22 coaches will now go away and complete several distance learning tasks before Part Two commences in April 2021.

The course was run by Football SA's Alec Wilson and Airton Andrioli.
