Modbury Jets v Playford City Incident
Football South Australia is aware of vision that is circulating on social media from the State League 1 Elimination Final between Modbury Jets and Playford City, which contains alleged racial vilification. The match took place at Smith Partners Stadium on Saturday, 9 October 2021.
Following the conclusion of the match, Football South Australia launched an investigation and continues to work on it.
Football SA has a zero-tolerance approach to all abuse in football, including those of a racial nature.
Both Clubs have been approached and are working cooperatively with Football SA while the matter is being investigated.
Football SA will not provide any further comment whilst the investigation is ongoing.
